Emma (2009)

I never really appreciated Romola Garai's performance in either Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights or in Atonement, but she's perfect as Emma in the BBC's mini series.

Strictly Ballroom (1992)

I capped this a while ago, but nonetheless, Strictly Ballroom (also titled Dancing Hero elsewhere) is how I discovered Baz Luhrmann, who's Moulin Rouge! and Romeo + Juliet I also adore. The director himself has background as a dancer which I've always found so evident in his films by how dance is being captured and presented. I'm quite damn sure this film is what started my obsession and love for red curtains in films.

The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967)

Originally titled Dance of the Vampires is directed by Roman Polanski and is a parody of the whole vampire concept. These stills are from the American version of the film which was so heavily re-edited against Polanskis wishes that he disowned it.
